Fun With Book Clubs!

This past week I had the great fun of joining the Diva's Book Club in West Kelowna. Honestly, I kind of felt like royalty as they sat me at the head of this lovely 10 seater table and asked questions about The Art of Getting Lost and Found.

As always, I wait to see how long it will take before someone asks me about Rebecca and if there will be a sequel.

What I love most about getting to meet readers is the way they can sometimes bring even more insight into the characters and how I can help point out some clues they might have overlooked.

When I'm reading, I always prefer a book that doesn't hit me over the head with board marked THIS IS IMPORTANT and instead, i get to connect the dots and figure it out for myself, leaving me feeling smart that I did. So I often bury things in my writing for readers to uncover on their own.
