Resilience

I'm getting very excited about this upcoming event, hosted by the amazing Erin MacNair, called Resilience: Finding Hope and Truth in Fiction.

Erin writes brilliant speculative fiction and after watching her in action, moderating a panel at the Vancouver International Publishing Conference this past June, I feel incredibly grateful that she's offered to take on this task.

We hope to explore the effects domestic violence has on mental health and how it is portrayed in fiction.

I'll be reading from my novel The Art of Getting Lost and Found, and then we hope to get into a great discussion, with questions from the audience welcomed. #breakwaterbooks #CanLit #writingcommunity
