Sorry, Not Sorry

Just in time for Canada Day, Lintusen press has released the anthology, Sorry Not Sorry, a compilation of short stories offering a slice of life in Canada. My story, Carousel, is one of the pieces included. It deals with the subject of abortion and abortion rights here in Canada. While our neighbours to the south in the USA are struggling to have control over their own bodies, it is a reminder of how lucky we are here in Canada that women have choices. Whether you consider yourself to be "prolife" or "prochoice" doesn't matter because there will always be women who find themselves faced with unwanted pregnancies who will go to any lengths necessary to not be faced with an unplanned child.
This story is pretty much based on my own circumstances and the unexpected kindness it initiated from a most unexpected source.
You can find a review of the anthology here.
